The EV Design Engineer is responsible for designing electric vehicle charging stations solutions for multi-unit residential and commercial installations. Reporting to the SVP, Operations

Detailed Job Duties: (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks which support the primary objectives)
  • Design electrical single line diagrams 
  • Visits sold projects
  • Organize online reports
  • Assist sales with site walks
  • Assists sales members with job quotes/ bill of materials (BOM) for invoicing
  • Update management with delays or issues
  • Manage to permit designs
  • Maintains updated bill of materials (BOM) 
  • Assists Engineering Manager and Senior Design Engineer with reaching forecasts 

The MUST Haves: (ex: skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses
  • B.A. or B.S. Degree from a four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Three or more (3+) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid State Driver's License with proof of automobile insurance.

  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements.
  • Data entry skills.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Job cost analysis.

  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook Communication Management software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Access; Project Management; and Publisher.
