Job Description

This is a 6-12 month + contract position

Electrical Engineer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

·Create wiring diagrams/electrical schematics, cable assembly production drawings, cable harness installation documents, and other documentation that defines product specifications for Production

·Integrate systems into airborne platforms by researching and understanding system Interface Control Documents (ICD) as well as the platform’s technical data package and creating documentation to integrate the two

·Initiate problem solving for new product designs and as well as existing products within an airborne platform integration effort

·Understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions and specific Customer requirements

·Execute engineering design and development activities consistent with Customer quality, cost and schedule requirements

·Participate in design integration with customer requirements and industry standards

·Support on-site production as a liaison design engineer

·Enable, encourage, and partake in efficient and effect cross-functional communication

·Regularly communicate with Program Management to provide status, risk assessment, and appropriate intelligence to inform decision-making

·Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

·Prepare material for, and conduct, periodic design reviews

·Conduct research that test and analyze the feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components and systems

·Review and approve wiring diagrams/electrical schematics, cable assembly production drawings, cable harness installation documents, and other documentation that defines product specifications for Production

·Other duties as assigned


COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all company Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external)

Responsible for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such as Time Sheet completion, Performance Evaluations, Salary Reviews, Succession Planning, etc.

Responsible for leadership oversight and for ensuring Department/Team training
